CommuniShare: About Us


CommuniShare is a project of Nonprofit Technology Resources (NTR), Stanley R. Pokras, Executive Director. NTR is a nonprofit corporation based in Philadelphia, PA. Founded in 1974 as the Public Interest Media Project, NTR has worked on various projects making media and technology more accessible to people of any economic status. Recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 charitable organization, any donations to NTR are tax-deductible. Donations intended for the CommuniShare project should be noted as such. The founder and director of CommuniShare is Seth Horwitz.				CommuniShare expresses its deep gratitude for the visionary support and funding of the Kopelman Foundation, which provided start-up funding to develop this project. CommuniShare is built on a LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) platform, using Open Source technology from XOOPS, with design and functionality by Walter Davis Studio and Ace Technology Group.
